Thank you for shopping with The Notions Room. We are committed to processing and shipping your orders as quickly as possible.

Order Processing

Most orders are processed and shipped within 3–5 business days of receiving your order.

Orders are processed during regular business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

During periods of high order volume, special promotions, holidays, or unforeseen circumstances, processing times may be slightly longer. If a significant delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Package size and weight
  • Shipping destination
  • Selected shipping method

Any applicable taxes and shipping charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

Shipping Destinations

The Notions Room currently ships within Canada. International shipping may be available on select products and destinations.

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, import fees, or other charges that may apply to international shipments.

Delivery Times

Once your order has shipped, delivery times will vary depending on:

  • The shipping carrier
  • Weather conditions
  • Postal service volumes

Delivery estimates provided by carriers are not guaranteed.

Tracking Information

When available, tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active within the carrier's system.

Sewing Patterns

To help ensure prompt delivery, sewing patterns may occasionally ship separately from notions, books, or other supplies.

If your order contains multiple items, they may arrive in separate packages.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

The Notions Room is not responsible for shipping delays caused by:

  • Postal or courier service disruptions
  • Weather events
  • Customs processing
  • Labour disputes
  • Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

If you believe your package has been lost, please contact us and we will assist you in working with the shipping carrier to locate the shipment.

Incorrect Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at the time of purchase.

Orders returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address may be subject to additional shipping charges for re-delivery.

Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 15 days of delivery and include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged item(s)
  • Photos of the shipping packaging

We will review the issue and work with you to determine an appropriate resolution.
